July 2023: Hayes Construction Looking to Expand
Hayes Construction is looking to expand with the purchase of lots behind our headquarters. Lots would be used to build a facility to allow for secure storage, carpentry and a maintenance facility. Hayes is working with the community and the City on the purchase. Click Here for more information.
August 2022: Groundbreaking West Side Bazaar
Another win for Team Hayes, WEDI and the community to start at the West Side Bazaar. Groundbreaking was today so Hayes can begin transformation of a two-level business-incubator-meets-community-space. Click Here for More information.
July 2021: Winner Brick by Brick Award
Hayes Construction is honored to have won another Brick by Brick Award. The K Haus at 808 Main St was this years winner for Historic Preservation. The K Haus preserves the spirit of an 1878 brownstone on Main Street in Buffalo while infusing a modern and highly designed interior and sensibility. Congratulations to the entire team for the win!
December 2020: Super Cool Work Space and Art gallery
Hayes Construction is so happy to be be a part of K Haus and K Art at 808 Main St downtown. Unique co-working office space and Native American Art Gallery. Cool space with super cool art work.

September 2020: Steeplejacks Brave Heights and Elements
Hayes Construction has started another historic renovation project with the steeple work at Westminster Presbyterian Church. To watch a Spectrum News video entitled Steeplejacks Brave Heights and Elements: Click Here
The steeplejacks travel the country repairing churches. We are excited to have them in Buffalo working at Westminster Church.
The Church is over 160 years old and Hayes is helping get it ready for the next 160 years. Hayes is here to help restore our community, one brick at a time.
Working 200 feet in the air sitting in a bosun’s chair certainly isn’t for everyone. Safety is key, as well as brave soul.

July 2020: West End In the News
The Hayes team is pleased to be teaming with Ciminelli Real Estate on the townhouses at West End. According to the July 24, 2020 article by Business First these are the last residential project planned for Waterfront Village. June 2020: Reopening post COVID Shutdown
Hayes Construction was shut down with the rest of the State and Country due to COVID for some time. We are getting to know our new normal and understand the requirements. During this time we were able to complete our work at the Peace Bridge and continue work at Evans Bank.

March 2020: Evans Bank Headquarters
Hayes was recently selected by Evans Bank to renovate a recently purchased building to turn into their new corporate headquarters. As a customer of Evans bank since 2009 Hayes is excited to transform this existing building into their new office space. With demolition complete the next phases of construction will continue.

December 2019: Radon Certified!
The Hayes team is accredited by The American Association of Radon Scientist and Technologists and The National Radon Proficiency Program. We provide survey and sampling, design services, installation and system certification for radon/SSDS systems. We work in both residential or commercial. Hayes will work with your team to create solutions for your project.

Hayes Construction is pleased to have taken a building scheduled for demolition and transform it into our offices and shop space. Former bowling alley and chocolate shoppe located in the east side of Buffalo was left vacant for many, many years. Hayes is happy to call it our home.
